About the Artist

Patricia Stephens attended the State University of New York at New Paltz , N. Y. as an art major. She lived and worked in Ogunquit Maine as a sculptor,  welding aluminum. A large piece from that period sits above the ocean’s edge at the Ogunquit Museum as a part of their collection, others are in private collections .

Along with painting, Patricia worked with stained glass in the Tiffany manner to create many windows and lampshades that are in private collections and in restaurants in Palm Beach, Florida aiond around the country.

After moving to North Georgia and consequently to Savannah she continued work with stained glass and concentrated on acrylic paintings, most recently with a series of paintings of horses inspired by the wild horses on Cumberland Island. She lives in Savannah with her husband Steve and has two daughters, Mia and Jennifer.
